Terms
Terms of Service
Effective July 6, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Flockaway for using the app and website. Please read them. By using Flockaway, you agree to them.
Using Flockaway
Flockaway ("Flockaway", "we", "us") is operated by Overwatch Data Services. It is a service for planning and sharing group trips. You may use it only if you can form a binding agreement with us and are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code, so keep access to that email secure. You are responsible for the activity on your account. Tell us at hello@flockaway.app if you think someone else has accessed it.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add to Flockaway, such as your posts, ideas, photos, and notes. So that the app can work, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and share that content with the members of the trips you add it to. You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to share it.
Community rules
Flockaway is a shared space for a group. To keep it that way, you agree not to post or do any of the following:
- Harassing, hateful, threatening, or abusive content, or content that targets a person or group.
- Sexually explicit material, or content that exploits or endangers anyone, especially minors.
- Illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Another person's private information shared without their consent.
- Spam, scams, malware, or attempts to break, overload, or misuse the service.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Flockaway. Accounts that post it may be removed.
Reporting, blocking, and moderation
Inside the app you can report a post or idea to the trip's owner, and you can block another member so you no longer see their content. Each trip's owner acts as its moderator and can remove a member from their trip.
We review reports of objectionable content and abusive users and act on them, typically within 24 hours, by removing the content and, where warranted, removing the person responsible. We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Location and the shared map
The shared map is a convenience for finding your group, not a safety or tracking system. It is off until you turn it on, works only while the app is open, and shows only your most recent position. It may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. Do not rely on it in an emergency or as a way to monitor another person.
The safety plan
Flockaway's safety-plan feature is a place for your group to write down meetup points, useful contacts, and notes ahead of a trip. It is a planning aid only. It is not an emergency service and does not contact anyone on your behalf. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from the app (see how to delete your account). We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or to protect Flockaway and the people who use it.
Disclaimers
Flockaway is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content shared by other members is accurate or appropriate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flockaway and Overwatch Data Services will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we do, we will update the page and the effective date above, and note material changes in the app where appropriate. Continuing to use Flockaway after a change means you accept the updated terms.
